We continuously monitor our systems for unusual activity to ensure that only you have access to your sensitive information.

When you upload a financial document, it is processed securely and only the numbers required for your calculations-such as balances, income, or investment values-are extracted. The original file is immediately deleted after extraction. We never store or retain your documents, and no one at Settel can ever view them. Your raw documents never live on our servers.

Settel follows strict GDPR rules to give you complete control over your data. You can export or delete your information at any time, and your data is never sold, shared, or used for any purpose outside of providing the Settel service. We store only the extracted numerical values necessary for your dashboard, and even these are encrypted and protected with strict access controls.

Your calculated financial information is backed up in encrypted form across multiple regions to ensure resilience and reliability. If something goes wrong, your dashboard can be restored without ever referencing the original documents. Access to your account is protected with multi-factor authentication, so even if someone obtains your password, they still cannot log in without your additional confirmation.
